Hey, Skittles!

This Skittles commercial has been around for awhile, and I just finally had to say something about it! What on earth is appetizing about candy that comes from a tree that's growing from a teenage boy's stomach? The impression I got from watching the commercial is that if you eat too many Skittles, a tree will grow from your stomach. Yay. That just turned me off Skittles for a long, long time. It'll take some real work on their part before I look at Skittles as an appetizing little candy, again.

Hey, Toyota!

I've been watching this Toyota commercial for months, now, and it still gives me the impression that if you buy the advertised product, you'd be throwing your money away! The main scene in the commercial is a balding man and his wife, standing in front of a new minivan, and he is just brushing money out of his hand with a sappy grin on his face while she dances around on it. The overall appearance? Buy this vehicle, and you'll be throwing your money away on it for a long time to come.
